Asbestos Water Tank & Flue Removal

Safe, fully compliant removal of asbestos cement water tanks and flue pipes across Berkshire, Surrey & Hampshire. Free, fixed quotes.

Asbestos Water Tank & Flue Pipe Removal You Can Trust

Many homes built before 2000 still have a grey asbestos cement water tank in the loft or an old asbestos flue from a boiler or gas fire. If you are replacing your heating, converting your loft or simply want it gone, it should be removed safely by a professional team.

Our UKATA-trained team carefully dismantles the tank or flue, wraps or double-bags every piece and takes it away for disposal at an approved facility, usually in a single visit. We work carefully in lofts, cupboards and tight spaces to protect the rest of your home, and you receive a hazardous waste consignment note for your records. Send us photos for a free, fixed quote.

Can I Remove an Asbestos Water Tank or Flue Myself?

Asbestos cement tanks and flues in good condition are generally low risk if they are left alone. The danger comes when they are cut, drilled, smashed or broken up to get them out of a loft, which can release fibres. You cannot always tell if a tank or flue contains asbestos by looking at it, so if you are unsure, our asbestos testing service can confirm it. Please do not try to remove it yourself: it needs to be dampened, dismantled carefully and disposed of correctly. Once it is gone, we can fit a replacement water tank and pipework through our reinstating service.
