Non-licensed asbestos removal for landlords, managing agents, schools, farms and businesses across Berkshire, Surrey & Hampshire. Work planned around your premises, with the paperwork your files need.
We read your survey or asbestos register before we quote, so we’re pricing the items actually listed rather than guessing. Work is carried out under the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 by UKATA-trained operatives, with a risk assessment and plan of work prepared before anyone starts. We’re open seven days a week, 7am to 7pm, which makes it easier to work around trading hours or empty periods.
Waste is double-bagged in UN-approved packaging, carried by us as a registered waste carrier and taken to an Environment Agency permitted transfer station. You get the consignment note for your records.
Our clients range from single-unit landlords to councils. The asbestos is often the same. What changes is how the job has to be run.
Removals during void periods between tenants, and clearing items flagged in your asbestos register before a refurbishment. We can arrange access and report back through your agent.
Work scheduled for holidays, weekends or quiet periods, with the area segregated and signed. We work with local authorities, schools and hospitals.
Cement roofs and cladding on barns, stables and sheds, removed whole wherever possible. We can re-roof the building or take it down completely. Barn roof removal.
Clearing the items in your refurbishment and demolition survey so your programme can start on time. We work to your site rules, inductions and permits.
Floor tiles, textured ceilings, cement panels and rainwater goods removed during strip-out or fit-out, outside trading hours where needed.
Fly-tipped asbestos clearances and planned removals, with full waste documentation for your records. Collection and clearance.
Most jobs follow the same four stages. Timescales depend on access and quantity, so we confirm them in writing with your quote.
Send us your management survey, refurbishment and demolition survey, or asbestos register. If you’re planning major works and don’t have a refurbishment survey, you’ll need one first.
For anything beyond a few items we visit, check access and segregation, and confirm which items can be removed as non-licensed work.
We set out the work area, method, programme and waste route before starting, and agree working hours with you.
Materials are removed, the area is cleaned and checked, and you receive the waste consignment note for your file.
The law splits asbestos work into three categories. We carry out non-licensed work. If a survey or our samples show licensed materials, we’ll tell you straight away rather than quote for them.
| Category | Typical examples | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Non-licensed | Cement roof sheets, cladding, gutters and flues removed intact; minor work on textured coatings; encapsulating material in good condition | Carried out by trained operatives under a risk assessment and plan of work. This is the work we do. |
| Notifiable non-licensed | Cement that will be substantially broken up; large-scale textured coating removal | Must be notified to the enforcing authority before work starts, with medical checks and health records for the workers. Ask us if your job falls into this category. |
| Licensed | Sprayed coatings, pipe and boiler lagging, most asbestos insulating board | Only an HSE-licensed contractor can do this work. We don’t. |

Whoever is responsible for maintaining or repairing the building, usually the owner, landlord or the business in control of the premises. The duty covers all non-domestic buildings and the common parts of blocks of flats. A managing agent can carry out the tasks, but the legal duty stays with the dutyholder. HSE: check if you have the duty to manage asbestos.
For a handful of suspect items, yes: we take samples and have them analysed at a UKAS-accredited laboratory, with results usually back in 24 to 48 hours. Before major refurbishment or demolition, HSE guidance says a refurbishment and demolition survey must find all asbestos in the areas affected before work begins, and that survey has to come first.
We’re open seven days a week, 7am to 7pm, and plan commercial jobs around trading hours, school holidays or empty periods wherever we can. Tell us your constraints when you ask for a quote.
A hazardous waste consignment note for every load we remove, showing the waste was taken to a permitted facility. If we took samples, you also get the laboratory certificate. Keep both with your asbestos register.
Yes. As well as asbestos removal we carry out re-roofing, soft strip, demolition and site clearance, so one contractor can take the job from asbestos to a clear site. Reinstating services.
On the quantity and condition of the material, access and working height, the hours you need us to work, and the volume of waste. We give a fixed written price once we’ve seen the survey, photos or the site.
